Anyone here evr get the ka24e totally rebuilt? Anyone go with a crate one? I put a ATK in my old 300ZXTT yrs ago great engine. They have a factory rebuilt with any and all updates for factory defects, or should I go local rebuild for cost. Engine does not need it yet, but am looking into maybe a super charger and if I do that I want a fresh motor. Just wanting to look at the cost and get ready before it actually needs doing.

I'm not aware of any turn key, drop in, crate KA24E.

There is a performance rebuild kit (AMS I think) that has good reviews, and that comes with forged pistons and upgraded forged rods.

I would probably piece one together if I were doing this.

The pistons are the weakest link. If you run forged pistons, stock rods (which are forged and shotpeened from the factory), ARP head studs, and 12psi, you can get 300hp.
