I have a 1993 vert, i do not like it. its automatic. But im going to get a 1993 hb shell with a blown motor and a 5 speed trans. My question is if i take my motor out of the vert what all will i need to put it into the 5 speed car. The transmission is fine on the shell.
Thanks in advance for all the answers.

If you're asking that question you are probably going to need a nice chunk of money to pay a mechanic to swap the motor/transmission for you. Use the search feature to sift through older threads and writeups and come up with a parts list, it is not hard to find.

As far as the engine goes you will need to install a pilot bearing. Also you will have to switch out the tps on the auto trans motor. (just use the old one on the blown motor.) Remove flex plate and install clutch and flywheel to new motor. You also have to use the m/t flyeheel bolts...flexplate bolts are too short. Thats it.
