my engine check is on and the only problem i see is that my speedometer is off like it will say im going 80 but actaully 65. ahaha anyways i was wondering if that makes the light goes on.

well it is quite possible since the computer isnt sensing the right signals from the speedo sensor. check the sensor for a worn gear. whether thats the cause of your error light or not, its a good idea to check it.
