Id say for the E do an exhaust(anything you like), a K&N drop in filter because for that engine the custom intakes dont do much, some good plugs and wires, nismo motor and transmission mounts, those are what I can think of off hand but im sure thre is more buit those are pretty cheap depending on what exhaust you get. There isn't as much following with the E motor as the others though I have seen pretty nicely built ones but they cost alot of money GL hope this helped try these sights they are pretty good to start at http://enjukuracing.com/ http://www.240sxmotoring.com/ and go from there just search the internet you'll find what you want

^^^ This. Until you know enough to turbo it properly, leave your SOHC alone.

N/A Bolt-ons are pointless in the grand scheme of things, maybe 20hp max... Not even noticeable really besides making you louder.

I/H/E like every body that wants "easy peasy" upgrades, maybe it'll raise your numbers by 10 or 15. Moar proformance another words....

I like how he use proformance.....Advance the timing with intake, exhaust maybe headers if you find a cheap one. Look on Craigslist or For sale on this website.

Just to provide you some direction, OP, here's what I recommend you do to increase your car's performance:

-complete all routine and mechanical maintanance-install polyeurathane master bushing kit, including subframe bushings.-install coilovers & brake upgrades-wheels (17x9 or better)

Those are the basics to having a dope 240, IMO. From there, you can continue to build up your suspension/chassis, get aero & then explore options for more power.

to everything simmode said. You have a single can. They suck.I should know.Bolt on are pointlessand would be lucky if you saw 15+ hp/ftlbs.Due maintenance and foot work.Coilovers can make any "stock " car fun to drive. If you really want power, look into turbos.

^^^ No no no... The DOHC only has about 20 more hp than your SOHC... it's nothing crazy. Keep your SOHC in good condition until you can learn how to turbo it. Plenty of ppl do it. There's even a guy here on NICO that is twin charging his KA24E. In the meantime, build up your suspension & chassis to handle the power you'll one day be making.

Hold on to your SOHCs... (pun intended)
