I have a 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5l with 152,000 miles. When I first start it in the mornings it starts OK. However, if I turn it off and try to restart after 30-45 minutes it is very difficult to start. It appears like it is flooded and it is hard to crank. I do not push on the accelerator but just turn the key. Also if I leave it for 3 or 4 hours and try to start it -- it starts easily. I have had a fuel pump replaced. A trottle position assembly as well as both thermostats replaced. Today they replaced a PCV. I had new platinum plugs put in at 138,000 miles. The computer does not indicate any type of codes.
Has anyone had similar problems or can assist me in finding out what is wrong? It is back in the shop for the fifth time and I am without a car again. PLEASE HELP!
