Hey Everyone, I've been having a problem with my vert not wanting to stay running. A few weeks ago i was driving it and the engine started sputtering and then died. I I checked to see that i had fuel pressure and i did, so i swapped out the ignition coil with the one from my parts coupe and it started up fine. A few days later, it did it again. this time it didn't restart. I pushed it to a safe place off of the road and it restarted. If ran fine for a few more days and then died again. Do any of you have an idea of what the problem is and how to fix it.

thanx, G munkie

Possibly a crank angle sensor (CAS).

I've had those go bad on my slowly and intermittantly like you mention.

You might post in the NIssan Online Mechanic section as well for better results. NISTECH is usually pretty quick to get to questions like these in that forum.

Thanx, I bought a Walbro fuel pump on Ebay about an hour ago. I'm gonna change that out and see if that fixes the problem. If that doesn't do it, i'm gonna do what you suggested.

Thanx again for the help
