I have a 1989 240SX and I am having a problem with my temp for some reason It goes up past the two oh holy crap sut it off marks. But no boiling no smoke no nothing. But I am afraid its over heating. I keep checking the radiator and its empty. When I fill it back up I can hear it going into the block. Did I blow a head gasket?

You may have.

Check for intermix (oil in water, water in oil). Then check compression. If both are good, try bleeding the cooling system, and maybe replace the CTS.

Yeah I just replaced the CTS, Water pump, Thermostat. Everything is brand new with name brand parts. But I noticed when I got the rad. full the fluid went from orange to a darker color. like it mixed with something. Oil dipstick has boubles on it.

Its 26 deg outside so I imagine anything over a normal temp would be smoking kinda good.

Thanks for your help man I will look into it.
