Question: is there any interchangeable or aftermarket parts that anyone has used with reliability for the powersteering or engine mounts/bushings. It would mean alot if anyone has some input. Thanks in advance. 👍

Looks really similar to the 240sx sets you can buy

I'm sure it is. Lots of parts sharing on our cars. Going through the make/model/year thing it says it'll fit. Do it and let me know :P

I already bought them but I currently have the non triangle one from a 2006 jeep. Thickness matches oem but the 240sx ones seem to thin. Haven't swapped it out because I haven't had issues but I will eventually.

I was thinkin my 97 Q45 power steering pump has gone out. Still has fluid but is turning like (hard) its not working. Is this what you guys are experiencing or is your issue not that bad, Found pumps, Not sure if the filter is the whole fill canister or if its just a filter somewhere, Any help/thoughts.. Thanks

the filter is inside the fluid reservoir. If its never been changed its most likely clogged like mine was. New ones are $400-500 which is insane but I used a BMW one that has a filter for about $15. Its not the prettiest, but it works

Thank you for the reply. So are you saying (Possibly) that my issue could be a clogged filter & not a bad pump. I never thought of that but since I planned on buying both, I'll start with the filter & see what happens. So is the BMW one both a reservoir & a Filter in one ? Whay yr & model did you find it on. any chance you would have a link to the source ?

I'm sure there's a way to diagnose this hard feeling on the steering but if you check under the hood or under the car and notice leaks. I'm sure it's more than a filter issue. Definitely not something that will damage the engine but it clearly won't help you when making turns.

I've found some limited stock online for factory style motor mounts for 1997-2001 FGY33. Any advice on replacing these?

Another possibility on the power steering issue, is a seized u-joint where the steering column shaft attaches to the rack. If it feels kind of notchy and uneven in effort to turn, I would check that u-joint.
