a few days ago my 91 240 overheated, it has a ka24de. after letting the engine cool i went out to start it so i could find where the leak was in my coolant system. i found it but now the car won't start again and the crank rate is really slow. the distributer is clean. i pulled oll of it apart there is no moisture in the maf or any other wire connection. help me out if you can.

If the crank rate is slow, it just doesnt have enough power, try charging your battery or just start it with jumper cables hooked up to another car. Thats all I can think of.

I've already done that. what are the chances that I warped a piston or maybe hydro-locked the engine because of a blown head gasket?

I kinda doubt it. I have seen cars drive with blown head gaskets with a huge stream of water coming out of the exhaust I wonder if your starter is effed up?Do you have a friend with one that you could trade out real quick to see if thats your problem?

well to my knowledge i'm about the only person in wyoming that drives a 240. Would a starter off an altima work? also i got this trouble shoot code when i checked the ecu. 21 - Ignition signal in the primary circuit is not being entered to the ECU during cranking or tuning. what would cause this???
