Gee, let's see - Engine Overhaul Kit....normally involves pulling the engine out, tearing it down, cleaning, boring cylinders, polishing crankshaft, replacing all of the worn parts, etc, basically ending up with a new fresh engine with a few more CCs.

Exhaust Header... if I have the engine out just thought it might be a good time to replace the stock exhaust with something a bit more tuned.

Ok well tearing down the engine you'll want to replace EVERY GASKET IMAGINABLE so go with a complete engine rebuild gasket kit Part Number A0101-CD325 and it costs a few hundred doolars. You dont want to do any boring to your aluminum block, but a light honing job would be harmless, so you'll want a piston ring set, part number 12033-8J100 or 12033-JP00A.Your Crankshaft bearing set is 12208-31U25. If you're doing a bore/stroke job you'll have to go aftermarket for pistons and internals. Like Cosworth or JE or something. You could also buy new rods and pistons and get a nismo camshaft set, but you'll need new valve springs and stuff. I don't know why you're doing this, but have fun. I rebuilt a 3.5 once and it wasn't fun. Not like rebuilding a simple KA24 engine....

I will have to do some additional research but would assume that this block is sleeved per any normal aluminum block and can take some amount of overbore to clean it up. Thanks for the part numbers and information.

If you are gonna do anything, go with the 4.2L stroker kit. Thats what I would do...

Poyzinous is an Infiniti tech...

Not sure what can and can't be done, but would be nice to hear what your plans are or why you're overhauling a VQ.
