my brother let his friend test drive my car, and he bascially went passed the redline on my car which is 7500 rpm. now the car runs but everytime i get to a stop my car chokes so i have to get it a little gas to keep it from bogging out. Id like to know what are potential problems might i have. Thanks

Sounds like Vac leak or boost leak

Doubt it. Exhuast leak would just be loud but wouldnt cause the car to stumble.

Take the valve cover off and check for popped off rocker arms and / or missing valve shims. Usually this makes noise at idle, but I have seen totally quiet engines with one knocked off.

an exuast leak can make your car stumble cz i had a leak at the aiv port and it ran like **** and bogged till i closed it up

i know i have a exhaust leak which makes my car back fire. i cant find any vaccum leaks or boost leaks. ill fix the leak 2morrow. i didnt think an exhaust leak would cause that, but ill make sure. my boost gauge shows that im boosting 8psi which is normal. Thanks for all the help guys.

i opened my valve cover and wasnt able to see anything wrong with it. i didnt take the cams off or anything. Everytime i hit boost, the car chokes, if not the car is fine. Hope that helps a little more.

The whole compressor housing rotates? If you tighten the center section to comp housing bolts up it might be fine. That will usually cause a big boost leak.

if you can, leave it on. it would be easier to tighten it if the turbo dosn't move like it would if it was off. If its not physically possible to reach them... u would need to do some unbolting.

I'd slap that fool upside his head! Seriously, this is why I don't allow anyone to drive my car if I'm not in it with them. If your turbo is truly f-ed and you can't fix it, I'd make him pay for a new one. Rev limiter FTW!
