Engine only runs for about 3 seconds and dies??

I started the car after changing all of the vacuum lines and I had the z32 mafs plugged in without a tune so it didnt run too good so I unplugged it and it ran and idled better. But then after shutting it off, it would only start if I didnt give it any gas. It would idle for 3 seconds and just die. Any amount of gas and it wouldnt start. Is it getting too much fuel? I'm using a Evo 8 fuel pump and I hope I have the stock injectors in as I bought some 550cc injectors a long time ago and cannot remember what color they are. BTW, are the stock redtop injectors grey or yellow?

is ur maf grounded, wat kind of air controller do u have, saf??

I forgot to add that I rewired it to use a SOHC KA Mafs. The wiring is right but I had the problem before that. I guess Im using the right injectors, they must be faded to look grey. Still need ideas.

Didnt have any vacuum leaks, I put some more gas in it and it started right up, but I left the hose next to the throttle body open this time and I seems to make no power or boost, I just need to make tube from the IC pipes to connect it to the vacuum tube. Also, what does that tube go to and what happens if I left it unplugged, I know it pulls a vacuum but the last setup I had didnt seal up well.

so it was out of gas?

I guess it was low on gas but I put 2 gallons in it before I ever started messing with it again and there no way it could have used that much gas as it was driven only 25 yards and back and has idled only about 5 minutes. I put another 5 gallons in and drove it without that hose connected as there is no way to connect it right now and it would drive but didnt make boost. I really want to know what that hose is for.

I got it running OK, it just doesnt idle, I have to keep my foot on the gas a little to keep it running even after adjusting the idle. But I also have a ton of blue-white smoke coming out of the exhaust that smells like fuel. I did a compression test last week and it was 155-150-150-152 on a warm engine so the rings are sealing good. I guess it is just running a lot of fuel for some reason. Any input is welcomed.
