Engine oil
Engine oil
The 07 versa manual says 4-1/8 qts for the engine oil capacity, but for 08 versa is 3.2 qts. Both 07 and 08 use the same engine, why the specification is different? Any thoughts?

I just bought a 08 versa s and my manual says 4 1/8 qts of oil. I just ordered some amsoil and wanted to make sure i ordered enough oil

The Nissan website says 3.2 quarts of oil for the 2008 model. I checked earlier today because I was shocked that there would be such a big difference (nearly a quart). Is this a misprint since the owner's manual for the '08s says otherwise?

Maybe it's 4.2 not 3.2

^ A .075 quart change (like a slight oil pan change) would make more sense than nearly one quart...

Misprint, Maybe. Nobody can live with only 3.2 qts of oil in the engine.

my manual says 4.2 as well...and its just about right when i changed my oil
