Engine Oil Preferance

I am about to change my oil and dont know much about viscosity. I live in chicago and the warm weather is on its way (+60). Should I still use the Mobil 1 SuperSyn 5W-30?

EDIT: Ok after reading that I discovered that I know less about oils than I thought. Can someone just give me an easy explenation of what I should change for the summer?

I'm gonna use Mobil one 15-50 synthetic but thats just me.
