engine not runnin right

my engine is an 89 ka24e,the engine was in pieces when i got it,i inspected the engine throughly,and everything seemed to be ok.,i replaced the spark plugs,spark plug wires,injectors,can any of you guyshelp,i think the engine is trash but my dad says its bot,but i say it's on it's last leg at 137,000 miles,i've run compression check,made sure the injectors work.pls al answeres all apreciated yes.:help i know i kind of a newb pls don't tell me i'm a newb
