We are a family of Nissan owners and like to keep our cars as long as possible. My 2003 Nissan Maxima is about to reach 200K miles.

My daughter’s car is a 2013 Nissan Rogue with 90K miles. I have done maintenance and repairs on both cars.

Question - How long do engine mounts last on the Nissan Rogue? I am thinking about replacing those as my next fun project. How do I know when it is time to replace the engine mounts? Google says 5-7 years or 100K miles longevity for Rogue engine mounts. Agree?

It is going to be engine mounts or shocks and struts as my next project. Thoughts?

They usually go past 100K. Except for the dogbone torque mount, I'd say 150K is typical and some make 200K. We just recently lost the dogbone on the wife's Altima at 155K, the remaining mounts are fine.

Thanks. This is helpful. I guess I still have time left before I replace the mounts except for the dogbone. What are the signs that the dogbone torque mount is failing?

It lets the engine rock under torque, so you'll generally start feeling a little "bump" in the drivetrain when you on-and-off the gas. When they're far gone you'll starting getting a clunk every time you shift D->R or R->D.

The TQ mount dog bone is on top and only 2 bolts. Less than a minute to remove and inspect.
I did looked at my 2011 at 60K and was fine during and oil change.

Leave the OEM until they're toast, and replace with OEM when needed, unless someone can suggest a good experience with an aftermarket brand. I replaced all mounts around 150K (KM, no miles) with third party, chasing a vibration that turned out to be the new aftermarket CV axle, and less than 2 years and very few km later I had to replace them again, completely shot. So lessons learned on both fronts, OEM CV's, OEM mounts.
