I had my car in for service today and the guys told me that I need to replace an engine mount. While I don't doubt them (they've been good to me so far) I still would rather not pay them the almost $200 they want to swap it out, especially since autozone has the same part they would use for ~$50. I've read a few how to guides and watched a youtube video where some dude does it on his truck but couldn't find it written out for the Versa. Does anyone know of Versa specific guide/video/etc for doing this?

Thanks for the help

Which mount is it? It could be easy or it could be hard. Usually you just support the engine from the bottom or with a sling, take the old one out, and put the new one in.

A truck is going to be different, as your engine is mounted differently.

I'm not 100% sure. Using the numbers on the service manual (EM-73): ( https://dl.dropbox.com/s/e1g9gfjs6tj1kf ... 0Mount.pdf )

it for sure is not #1 (was recently replaced) so it is either #2 or #4. I'll have to check, but I can't figure out how to get a good look at the rubber around #2

If it's the lower mount in the bottom right of the service picture then Racingline makes a replacement. Installation is very simple and can be done with hand tools in your driveway
