I have an 05 g35 coupe. Unfortunately it is automatic (it was bought used, it was either that or a new civic). I was in Japan for a few years and got into drifting and originally wanted to change stuff out in this car to set it up for that. Decided to just buy a S14 and build the car I had over there. However I would like to do some work to the G35 even being automatic. Found a website that sells 4 different levels of superchargers, if I look into what other mods would I have to do to make sure the engine can withstand the extra power? Is it even worth doing? Thanks.

Welcome to NICO!

Anything can be done with money...The G35 powertrain will be ok until 400rwhp. Then you have to start to worry about components failing. I'd start with the easy stuff like intake/exhaust.

The 5AT transmission is pretty good and can be made to handle decent power I hear. transmission cooler and VB mod would really be needed but even then I hear mid-high 400whp is about the most you want to do with it.
