A while back I came across this site:http://www.racetep.com/240sxna.html

I've heard some bad things about the company itself (ie. not responding, taking way too long, getting s13 & s14s confused, etc) so I'm not sure that I care to deal with them. However, the setup still looks tempting. I wanted to get some opinions on it. Is it missing anything, will it be reliable, what's a good price for the work, any places in austin/lubbock that you can recommend, etc, etc.

My goal in the end is to get as much as I can out of my engine in naturally aspirated form. Then, when I'm no longer satisfied with that, I'll switch to lower compression pistons, new cams and re-port the head and go with a turbo.

Thanks for the :help -Cliff

Man that is just as much money as an n-sport turbo kit?

actually more..?and a turbo if run at a low boost is not that unreliable..?(plenty of vehicles are already on the road sold stock with a turbo and run for hundreds of thousands of miles, it's when you get bored and start cranking the boost that you can casue problems)

Well yes, but at the same time many people like to pursue Naturally Aspirated power. I think Spoon would enlighten you as to the value of natural aspiration. : ) I think its cool, however you want to build your engine is great, just so long as you build it. : )

I can't remember what engine you ahve offhand Kilipo, but if you have a DE its pretty easy to boost the compression and what not, with normal upgrades, I/H/E and higher compression you'll be putting out enough power to be satisfying. Not a ton mind you, but enough to satisfy. Do those, get your ECU reprogramed for your compression and you're good to go. : ) Good luck!

Ya, I've got the DE. It's a 1995.
