This is BS.Last night I changed the oil for the first time in my new 240.After i get done I go to the car wash to get the oil washed off from the oil filter. While I was doing the oil change I did something retarded,I unplugged the "plug that makes the car shift harder".It did shift harder,It's a simple "mod" on the faq page.On the way to the car wash the service engine light comes on. The car still drives fine, just the light stays on.So I go home and reset the ecm.So today I'm driving down down the highway,I turn on the A/C and then the light comes on and the car starts to buck.Acting like it's gonna die.I drive it to autozone and the guy hooks up the diagnostic computer .The code is engine misfire in one of the cylinders??I asked the dude what could have caused it,he said it could be wires, plugs, distributor, fuel pressure, and alot of other things.Does anyone have any ideas? It has 80K miles.I just bought new plugs, wires, and fuel filter.I'm gonna instal those parts and reset the ecm and see what that does.If anyone has any ideas on the cause please let me know.Thanks.BWt it's a 97 se auto with 80K

Ok I changed the spark plugs today. You were right. There was some water in the plug wells.I I blew it out with compressed air, installed the plugs, reset the ecm.And now its running fine.I'm gonna take it out for a long drive to make sure it doesn't come on again. Thanks for the answer
