Welcome to NICO,

Are you boosting this built motor? and if so, with what? Cause i don't see you even getting near 500whp withsout some kind of forced induction...

Welcome to NICO foxtrot!the GT35 will definetly make that kind of power, but it doesnt have good spool...

that said, i dont think this would make for a good daily driver turbo, better off using the GT32 imho. good luck with the boosting though, good to see KAs making big power

Welcome to NICO.

The best thing for you to do is read. Just browse the site, use the SEARCH button to answer any questions you may have, and if you can't find the answer then make a thread. I've been on this site for over 2 years and the information exchanged here is endless. Do your research, then come up with a plan on how you are going to hit 500hp.

There are many many different choices you can make regarding engine management. You can do anything from have your stock ECU chipped to using a standalone like AEM EMS, but whatever you choose to do remember that a good tune is the most important part of building your car.

What year 240 do you have, and what did you rebuild the bottom end with?

the gt32 won't support 500hp but i think very few turbos exists that will give you the spool of a gt32 and are capable of 500hp without costing double of what a gt32 will cost.

welcome to NICO and man your gonna have countless hours of reading on this forum ahead of ya..........

for a turbo that is capable of 600hp, 4000-4500rpm is good. I would not call that lag at all
