Engine makes a pop sound

i got the car in this condition for free im tryin to see what i can d cz i love these cars

when i start the car up its smooth and quiet but if i step on the gas all the way down its like the engine is straigning it has low power and it starts to make pop sounds by the air filter, but if i tap the gas lightly a few times it revs up strong but when i hold it down it goes back to poppin, now when i drive it it moves slow if i lightly touch the gas it picks up speed but still slow its hard to catch it, somebody please tell me something, it seems like its a very small issue because the car was running perfect until my friend had it sitting for like a year or 2, i cant run the diagnostic, because nothing on my dashboard works like i said in my previous post,

This is probably related to your other problem:

no interior power!!!!

You may have fried some electronics. We'll see. Do the other thing first.

Intake pops are generally lean pops. That is, you're likely having fuel starvation issues. Do the easy thing first and replace the fuel filter. Check the fuel pump after that...

Go the the rear of your car and read the lettering on its trunk carefully.
