For some reason about a couple of months ago when its hot out my car looses its power. Its like I will push on the throttle and it takes a sec or two for it to get the rpms up. It almost acts like a turbo with a lot of lag. Its weird and hard to explain but it pisses me off. I was thinking it could be my fuel filter but that would do it all the time...I cant think of anything...got any suggestions.:help

did you check the usual suspects? Spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor? these things could have a definite impact on your engine's response, also one more thing it could also be your airfilter it could be clogged up bad. good luck!

Well, the intake does run over top of the radiator...Could it be that your throttle cable is a little slack and has expanded a little due to the heat? Try pulling up the slack.

Well I know that I need a new air filter, it is bad. But I dont understand how that would affect anything when it is hot. It has never done it when its cool or cold outside. I am getting a new filter today so I will switch it and see. Well the Spark plugs, cap, rotor and a wires are brand new but I can still check it out.
