I recently attempted to replace timing chain and tensioners on a 2005 Altima 3.5.
After I installed everything I attempted to roll motor over by hand just to verify everything was ok before i put outer timing cover on but it hit a hard spot around 3/4 of a full revolution and seized.i could go back the other way stops at same spot . I ended up taking everything back off along with removing cams and plugs . It is still locking up. It was running fine before I tore it down just noisy from wore out secondary's.
Any idea what could of happened?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Sounds like one of the pistons is hitting an open valve. Timing not correct. Did you resolve this?
