Engine light wont go away

After working on my A/C and taking apart everything, My engine light suddenly came on after i reassembled it and wont go away, Is there anything I could do to trace the problem down?

sure, depending on the year and model you either have to pull some codes or go to advance and have them pull them. pulling codes is pretty well covered if you search for it. you have to locate the ecm and turn the diagnostic screw untill the engine light flashes the code number.
