Hey, Whenever I turn on teh air conditioner in my 240sx... when I shut the car off..... the enxt day or next I start up the car, the engine light comes on....

remove your ECU (kick panel on passenger side) but do not take off the harness. Turn the key to ACC and turn the screw on the back clockwise and leave it there for 3 seconds, then turn it back to the original position. Record the long and short flashes and refrence them on here or search it yourself.

I have done this myself but it was awhile ago so somebody pls confirm my info.

Or go to Autozone and have them pull the code... welcome to OBDII.

check out those 2 links...i just did it the other day in my 96 and the code was 77 which is the rear o2 sensor. pretty easy stuff.

i already know its the O2 sensor, so I guess I cna;t sue my air conditinor?

autozone charges nothing to pull the codes from your engine. they just come out to the car with a little handheld diagnostic device thingy and plug it up and bingo you know whats wrong with your car.
