Engine light?

I got in my car it started as allways, drove a short distance and the engine light came on! I parked did a visual examination and didnt see any problems. I continued to drive for ten minutes and then the light went off.What should I do, Has this happened to any one befor. I want to find the problem befor it causes major problems, but I dont know were to start. 1994 Q45 130,000

Access the ECU and get the codes(s). Here's a How To.

Then search/post your findings in the Infiniti Online Mechaninc.

What does RH kick panel mean.I know what a kick panel just nor RH, abbriviations.

Passenger kick pannel is off, is the ECU labled C5 I dont see a built in light or screw to test for codes.Thanks fo help

Not sure if the Q is like the J.But I have to dismount the ecu and turn it around .Light and trimpot face the front of the car .

I will dismount it, and check, again thanks.

I dismounted it, and it was on the front side. So I did the code check.5 long blinks and 5 short all ok, I still wonder why my check engine light momentarly came on.
