I have a 2001 Pathfinder SE with about 80,000 miles on it and the engine maintentance light/check engine light went on about 3,000 miles ago. I didn't notice anything at first but I have to let the Pathfinder warm up for about 45 seconds to a minute or else it will bog down or die when I try and drive it. After it is warmed up, (about a minute), it drives like a champ, no problems at all.Anyone out there have the same problem and know what it is, or does anyone have any ideas as to what it may be?Thanks, J

Find out what the CEL code is. This will help a bit. You can usually get them pulled for free at like autozone or some other part stores.

I finally got to the autoparts store and got the Pathfinder tested. The code that came back was a P 171 code. The printout that came with it said "P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)". My only problem now is trying to find out if the sensor I need to replace is front or rear sensor and which side, (while looking at the engine), is Bank 1.Any ideas?
