i have a '93 240sx ka24de. About a month ago my engine started to miss real bad. i figured out it was on cylinder 3 (i removed spark plug wires when engine was running, and when it came to removing the wire on cylinder 3 nothing had changed) n e ways, i replaced spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and coil. oh and the injectors. my car is running alot better but it seems to still miss every 10-20 sec. the longer the engine has been running the better it gets but it still misses. if ne one has ideas i would appreciate it. thanx

Could be in the fuel rail itself. Mightbe a build up...But you'd think it's affect #4 as well....With car running remove plug wire......Put plug wire back in.........Remove injector plug on #3........

Could be the wire to the injector plug......

Changed 02 sensor lately???Cleaned the intake mani lately???Checked for vaccum leaks???Run some seafoam through your intake system......... Then chage your 02 sensor...make sure you put the new sensor on after running seafoam because it can kill the sensor......

if you are sure that cylinder # 3 isnt firing and you changed all of those parts then you might want to check into your ecu...if you turn your key to the on position you will see a l.e.d. on the back of your ecu..that l.e.d. comes on when the key is on..if you start your engine it should go off..if it doesnt your ecu is bad

How many miles on the car? As the car ages, the valve seats wear down, hence the need to adjust the valves. I know on my 87 Toy truck, it will miss at idle if the valves are too tight.

Unfortunately, these things take shims if I'm not mistaken, whereas a 12mil socket, feeler gauge and a screwdriver are all I need for my truck.
