for some reason, my '92 with a stock KA24DE keeps dying. it seems to do it when I decelerate hard, or sometimes just under normal deceleration. And sometimes, fairly frequently, under deceleration, when i'm almost stopped, the car will go to like 200-300 rpm, and almost die, but when i get completely stopped, it goes back up to normal idle, and runs just fine. I seem to get these problems more often when it's raining or damp outside. Could it be a sensor somewhere, like the MAF? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

take a look at the AIV removal sticky, i had mild versions of your problems. idle was slightly unsteady and *sometimes* under braking rpms would dip down and brake would feel spongy because there wasnt enough vacuum for the brake booster to do its work.

cleaning/removing AIV may help ya

Does the car surge at all under WOT?

If so you might want to check the fuel pressure regulator w/ a pressure gauge t'ed into the line. Had a car in that had similar malfunctions and thats what it turned out to be.
