So, I've been reading some threads and I see some of you asking for a piston/rod combo for reasonable pricing. But, before I post up a special, I want to know what you guys want to run in your motors. As far as pistons go I can get Wiseco, CP, and the JE Custom pistons, and for rods I like to go with Crower or Pauter. In Mike Lee's car (KA24, over 560whp) we are running CP and Crower on the new build and will be shooting for over 700whp with the nitrous. Let me know what kind of set ups you guys would like and I will post up a special here by the end of the week for you guys.

+1.I've got JE pistons.. and if I were to do it again, I'd go CP. And crower's I-beam rod can't be beat, in my opinion.-Jeff

I didn't have anythn to do with bringing this to our sponsors attention Your prices are good already, I'm buying me a KA right now to switch for my vert so Now I can build the vert engine Think it doesn't really matte ron pistons. They are all good.Unless we got some new record setters out there wanting 600+. Let us know when you can maybe have a 2 week opening to get in on a special group buy? Thanx again.

Blair, let me welcome you to our KA-T boards! Thanks for stepping up and looking into this recent demand for engine internals, I know our members appreciate it and it is really cool that you are on the boards and active, listening to suggestions from the posts. Marc with Import Auto Performance is our other major KA-T sponsor, hopefully with his awesome KA-T kits and your special pricing on internals, our members will have access to some incredible setups at SWEET prices.

Looking forward to seeing more from you, and again: welcome!

Me as well...Wisecos are the cheapest pistons of the lot (although still amazing quality), and crowers are cheaper than pauters but just as strong... Oh yah, and 9:1 for the wisecos, .020 over

When do you know what the pricing will be?

As far as what we're doing for a KA right now:

We're rebuilding Mike Lee's motor, and shooting for new records. Rebuilding TY's spun bearing motor with same internals as Mike's. Building ANOTHER ka for a guy who's got more money that i'll ever see in my life (lol) and basically has a grudge match vs his buddy in a TTZ06 pushing around 575, so driver willing with 475 with a 150 shot it'll be a great race. And I'm going for a 325whp stock block "budget" build up which I'm only in it for about 400 bucks right now (not including the AEM of course).

Seeing as how there is a split for both the CPs and the Wiseco's and since ross sells direct to th public and will be hard to get a smokin deal to you guys on them unless I have 10+ buyers, I'm going to just run some smokin prices on both the CPs and Wisecos. Look for the special in the advertiser's forum by the end of the week guys, and thanks for your interest!!!
