Thats a horrible picture. IF it was a top view it would be easier to tell. Is it even a 240sx engine bay shot? It doesn't look like one.

yea, i was gonna say rotary. the way the intake is setup, the engne is mounted far back, and the bigass fan shroud.

I don't think any 240's have that light under the hood either.

also, if you were gonna do a rotary swap, why the fook would you leave it automatic? lol

I think they just got some pics mixed around. It's probably a dealership mistake.

actually wait that's not a rotary. there is no intake manifold visible. and the intakes all run to the left on rotaries.

That is not a 240SX engine bay. I know that for sure.

And that A/C equipment. I recognize it. I have seen it before, but I cna't place it.

I have a feeling that is from a truck. I know the older Z24 (or maybe KA24) engines in the Hardbodies had a throttle body mounted on top like that.

REAL KA24DE

so we've ruled out it's not a KA or 13b N/A, so wtf is it??

whoever figures it out gets a special prize!!

you get to be my best friend for 1 week! after that, all terms are off and you must be shipped back to your home state.;)

Another good way to tell its not 240sx is it has the antenna on the front passenger side fender. I could see the truck idea being very possible.

This a definite s-10 engine, I know because my brother owns one. Intake on top, battery position, hood light... it all says s-10. That guy on ebay is really tryin to screw someone over.

It also says Vortec V6 on the intake hose. It looks like a motor from a blazer or something similar to that.

I havent, but I though it was funny when I saw it , knew something was way off!

the flip ups arent in the picture so I guessed that it was in something else after a little thought.
