Car ran perfect before i relocated my battery and went from smic to fmic. Here is the problem: Pre-problem i would open the throttle just a little to raise the rpms and it would hold steady at about 1700rpm. Now when i go to open the throttle it will raise to 1700rpm and then will cut out momentarly and the rpm will drop to say 1200 before it comes back on and will then raise to 1700 agian. This will repeat until i let off...its kind of like the honda idle when the iac is messed up. When i am driving i can not hold a low rpm steady speed. Say i am in 5th gear and at 40mph and am letting the engine slow the car down. When i go to open the throttle to manitain 40mph the car will not respond. I have to open the throttle up even more and then it will jerk and accelerate. It just seems to have a problem when i barely break open the throttle. Other than that it runs fine. I check my intercooler piping for leaks and i know it is sealed. I also made sure i have good grounds in the trunk (i grounded the batter to three points and they are sanded down). I also made sure the engine was grounded with a new main ground cable to replace the old one and a few new grounds just to make sure. This problem is really starting to get me pissed ...its just annoying. I figured i might try to reset my tps some time this week. The only thing i can think of is that the power wire (for the battery relocation) is running right by the ecu. ..could it cause some kind of interference?

Here is a vid of what it is doing.http://videos.streetfire.net/v...e.htm

Any opinions or recomendations would be helpful.

since you changed from SMIC to FMIC you might be getting more air than fuel now. Check your spark plugs, make sure your not running lean. I had a problem similar on my rb but I bumped my timing up a few degree's and its fine now. Do you have a wideband? sounds like a boost/fuel problem.

Bad TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) maybe?
