I have a 95 240sx stock engine KA. I decided to buy a walboro fuel pump and installed it the car ran great for about 10 min and then it started throwing alot of blue smoke out the exhaust. I went ahead and replaced all the fuel injectors fuel filter put back the old stock pump because it was giving too much gas to the engine and i changed all the spark plugs because the were flooded with gas. when i start the engine the car shakes alot the first spark plug is getting way to much gas and is isnt burning the spark plug is just wet. it only happens to the first one the rest burn fine. I tried fuel cleaner injector cleaner everything.. nothing works. i unplugged the first injector and the shaking went down alittle but the car began to idle low and cut off.. i replaced the first injector again and same problem it idles then drops and cuts off and the smoke is just flying out the exhaust what can the problem be please help

i think if you are getting blue smoke that means you are burning oil, black smoke is too much gas but i could be wrong

Blue smoke= OilGray / black= unburned fuelWhite=water

Sounds like whrn you put in the Walbro fuel pump you blew out hte Fuel Pressure Regulator. If you have a Fuel Pressure gauge check it. You may be able to rent one from your local parts store, Check your FSM for proper pressure. I am not familuar enough with yours to tell.

Your reg is problably wide open, get an OEM one. Why are you running a walbro on a stock engine ??? Why would get an adjustable FPR for a stock engine??

end i had the same prob after installing new injectors this past weekend it was my second cylinder and my smoke was white but there was gas coming out of tail pipe your injector is not sealing right. did you replace the bushings under the fuel rail? if not do those. fuel pressure reg is attached to the back of your fuel rail fuel lined is hooked to it. its small about the size of an injector. also make sure you use Vaseline to better your seal. make sure both o-rings are replaced plus the bottom bushing and that should help. lemme know how it works out for you.

It is possible the injectors are dumping fuel into the engine. Try listening for the injectors clicking while the engine is cranked. Take a long screwdriver and put the tip on the base of the injector and your ear to the handle. Have someone crank the engine and listen for the click. It should be a sharp click. A dull sounding clip indicates a dirty injector that is, probably, not sealing.________________________________tips: always check ignition coil bracket

walbro fuel pumps automatically makes your car burn more fuel wich is going to cause it to run rich wich is better then running really lean i guess!my sr20 runs pretty rich but runs strong!

just cuz your injector is working doesn't mean anything it must be sealed you prob gotta replace the bushings into the manifold and o rings on the injectors (2) mine did the same thing it was spitting unburned gas out of my exhaust pipe check for proper seal use Vaseline to help seal it all it consisted of for me was a diff. injector cuz the new one was defective where it needed to seal.
