OK I tried searching for about 30 mins so sorry if this has been discussed before. I got my SR swap done a while ago and I havent flushed the motor yet. The shop I got the halfcut from said it was sitting in a JY for a few months so they said make sure you get an engine flush. I couldn't find anything on the SR's so I was looking for some help from you guys. How do you do the engine flush??? My friend took his Rx-7 to Sears but I wanted to do it myself. And I wasn't sure if they would do it because its not the stock motor. So any input would be appreciated thanks.

You should be able to flush it yourself without a problem. I myself use BG engine flush.

drain the oilput on new oil filterput additive in with 1 quart trans fluid and the rest oilrun 15min at idledrainfill with oillet run 10-15min.drainnew oil filterfill up with oilhave a nice day............

im sure people do it differently. you dont have to use trans fluid, but it helps seals....thats just my method, hasnt failed me yet.

oh,and ofcourse use cheap oil for the cleaning process.then the good stuff to fill up with at the end.

The cleaner(additive) is only 1 quart. so 1 quart cleaner ,1 quart trans fluid (auto trans fluid),and 2 quarts oil.
