Hey all. I'm looking at buying an engine out of an Infinity Q35 (V6 engine) with a 5spd Auto transmission (even though I really don't want the transmission, but it comes with the engine). I was wondering if anyone knew how much in the way of modifications I would have to do for the engine, and I would rather keep my manual transmission. Would my stock manual trans (FS5W71C) even bolt up to that type of engine? I'm guessing no, but weirder things can be possible, I guess. Maybe I'm just hopeful for a "plug-n-play" engine, but unless I'm replacing my VG30 with another, then there is no such thing a "plug-n-play" with that car, huh? Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen one in a Z31 yet but I'm sure it'll fit, as for trans, I'd be willing to wager it's not even close to bolting to VG trans, but finding a manual vg trans shouldn't be too hard

I've heard of complete swaps using the donor harness, column, gas pedal etc to retain the stock ecu, I think it's be a lot easier and better t run a stand alone and convert to a TB that accepts a cable
