ha ha ha ha...omg..ha ha ha..omg..im gona pee my pants!..dude ..seriously..dont give advice..im not bashin ya..dont get me wrong..but the oil system and fuel systems are seperate brother..there is no chance in hell the guide can be pushed into the injectors..lol..besides...the oil pump intake tube has a small screen on the bottom..nothing more to say about your post..please dont give amunition to the forum gunners out there..they will rip ya apart for a post like this. ..ps..bump for update's

Ok, update time again...

Took the nice day to put some parts on and see how she does. Replaced the thermostat again, this time with a normal 170 deg. unit and she seems to idle better and heater works great. Bad thing was I found sediment sitting in the outer part of the thermostat housing, quite a bit too. Looked like I had sand in my coolant so I'm contacting a friend to check costs so I can plan on having a full coolant system flush done.

Also fixed my startup issue I was having, though I don't think I've mentioned that as I knew the problem. Turns out the clamp for the battery terminals negative side was old and having been taken off so many times was slightly warped so that even when it was fully tightened you could slide it off with no problem whatsoever. That was a major pain as I would have to get out of the car and re-adjust the cable a few times before I could start the car. Now the cable is nice and tight and that seems to have helped a bit with the idle as well as making it turn over much easier. Just a bad current causing a few problems I guess.

Waiting for another nice day to rip the header off and wrap the lower half of the header (top half is already wrapped) so I can remove the heat shield and stop the rattle. I'll probably take care of a few other stuff while I'm under the car.

I have to wait, do to financial issues to buy more new parts. Need new distributor parts and possibly plug wires, still have the original wires from '92 on it (Yazaki).

Other than that she's doing good. Glad winter is almost over so I can get more wrench time in.
