Ok everyone, i FINALLY received my tax refund so i can now buy my engine set. I guess I will be getting s13 redtop(most likely). I have searched all of the sponsers, so please no smart alex comments. I just would like nico-land's suggestions on who I should actually buy the engine and trans from. By the way, I want a set that includes ABSOULUTELY EVERYTHING I need for the swap. That being said, I welcome all positive insight on this matter--thanks in advance

Try calling JHot or Jarco, they are both local and they may have an SR available.

For someone wanting "ABSOLUTLEY EVERYTHING" needed for the swap, I would have to suggest Enjuku Racing or Heavy Throttle. Talk to Ray or Teddy @ Enjuku, or Talk to Jeff @ Heavy Throttle. I've dealt with all of those guys and they are extremely knowledgable and helpful in regard to the SR swap process.

The above info is very correct. I'd say talk to Enjuku though. How you been Ouiton? I've been VERY busy lately which is why I haven't answering back. Good luck man!

Hahahaha you have the basis for a successful SR swap. You should make a help thread so if you are confused about anything. And I'm always on AIM.

My car had an S13 redtop that an idiot or group of idiots put in it before I bought it. I bought the car against my better judgement and gut feeling (1st head up the *** mistake. see 2nd further down the post). I drove it twice and *BOOM* rod errupts through the side of my jdm tyte SR.

So......1 year 3 months later (after searching, learning, and bugging the hell out of Ray @ Enjuku) I get my S14 SR motor set and get it put in. Now here is my 2nd head up the *** mistake: I bought the motor set from someone other than Enjuku or Heavy Throttle because I was (A) on a budget and (B) IMPATIENT.

Moral of this long drawn out bit of wisdom:

Be patient and buy from a reliable supplier- see sponsors to the right -
