My engine has been running fine but recently it's been dying out on me. When i first start the car, the engine runs fine and idles smooth. It starts at around 1000 rpm and then goes down to about 700 after it warms up. I start driving and it would be fine, but after i drive at low speeds, about 20 mph, and i go to neutral to come to a stop, the rpm drops down to about 300 and then climbs back to 700-800, and back down, and up again, for a while. That's just at low speeds, but at high speeds, around 45 mph, after i shift it to neutral to stop or turn, the engine just completely dies out. Sometimes it would die but then come back to life by itself. When i start it back up, it starts up right away with no problems, but just bogs from 300 rpm and up to 800 rpm and back and forth for a while, then it would start idling smooth again until i start driving, then it dies again. I first thought it was the fuel pump going bad, so i had that replaced and it seemed to fix the problem for about two weeks, but now it's happening again. Im guessing it has something to do with the fuel delivery system? Either that or something with the MAF. Could someone help me and maybe tell me what could be causing this? Thanks alot.

Had a similar problem.. replaced the fuel pump, was ok for about 2 weeks, then started back... I ended up replacing a lot of stuff after this, but I think the problem was my TPS. After a new TPS, CTS, fixed a vacuum leak and cleaned out throttle/IACV the problem ended.. Make sure to check all vacuum hoses on your intake first... its amazing what happens when a simple little hose pops off... Good luck...
