does anyone have the dimensions of a z32 motor and a transmission. im headed to new york tm to look at a few and planning to buy one. only prob is i dont know if it will fit in the back of my expedition. let me know whats up

Don't know the dimensions, but the engine and transmission should fit in an Expedition. You might have to break them apart, but they should fit. The biggest thing on the motor is protecting the oil pan. Make sure it isn't dented AT ALL before you buy the motor, and make sure to keep it from getting dented on the way home. Many have toasted their motor due to a small dent which prevents the oil pickup from working.

Good luck and make sure to compression test any motor you seriously consider...

I'm pretty sure it's going to fit, the expedition has a lot of cargo space in the back. If you need fold down the rear seats, remove the 3rd row of seats if equipped.

thanks for the feedeback, i thought it would fit just wasnt to sure. i should of driven my lazy a** to my parents house to take measurements of the na but even then i dont think id be able to get the true dimensions of it in the car. im gettin ready to leave now. hopefully one of the swaps is to my liking otherwise there is going to be one sorry shop owner. a 9 hr dr and a dissappointed z enthusiast is not one to mess with lol
