I have an s13 hatch, and the KA is pretty beat down. So I've decided to get a swap. But I can't decide what to get I need some help!I don't want an SR20 cuz everyone has them and I kind of want to to above and beyond an SR.RB20 isnt bad, a little cheaper than a SR20 and 215 hp? not bad.Or should I just put up an extra G and get an RB25? The only problem with getting an RB25 is wiring, and custom fitting it. I don't know what to do! Please any comments or help is MUCH appreciated. Thanks

If you don't want an SR20, I would just go to a RB25.Why get a RB20?

pleeeeeease search for this shiz man. this is the most beat down subject on the website. there has got to be AT LEAST 100 different threads asking what motor to do. Just do what YOU want to do. firgure it out, then research it, then do it.

otherwise, someone will say "hey do an rb26, that would be mad tyte yo!" and then you say "can i has rb26 now?" and order it. then it gets to your house and youre like "oh **** son, i has no idea what this is. or how to do it."

then we get another thread like this. saying that you just bought a motor swap without doing your own research and you want us to tell you exactly how to do it, step by step, with pictures, links to all the good sites, schematics, and ya. dont be that guy.

but in the light of this thread, i say go RB25. cuz its teh sehcsss.

writing "has" instead of "have" and "teh" instead of "the" makes you seem like a fool.

...just sayin'.

Or just rebuild the ka and go ka-t either way you will need to freshen up whatever motor you wind up going with.....just stick with what you have

Go with the one you think is right for you. The RB20 is as old as Jesus and they have lots of miles, go with the 25 if you really want an RB. Which ever route you take, try and rebuilt the engine before you squeeze more power out of it.

And who cares if this has been discussed a thousand times, we are all car enthusiasts, lets just help each other out instead of complaining.
