i was trollin around the junkyard one day when i noticed that the intake for s14 ka looks different than the s13. the runners sorta look a little more even in length coming from the plenuminto the mani. Is this just my imagination? Or is there something about the s14 engine (other than this) that makes it more preferable to build on?

Nope. S13s had the secondary butterflies and a few different sensors, but the hard parts are all the same.

Nope. People like to spew BS. The pistons are the same. The 98-up Altima pistons are different, and drop in, but I can't remeber the change made. Unless you're "hearing" it from someone reliable, or actually seeing it, it's probably hearsay.

yeah prolly true but i would love to hear about those altima or SOHC pistons, i really wanna go the high compression route instead of turbo (i love torque :) ) besides its definately less money for general maintenance.
