ok so the other day i sold the sr i was planning to do a full mazworkz build up on thinking i may end up more reliable and cheaper off doing 2j or vq to make the same amount of power. i don't plan on starting the build up soon (even though i want to), cause just bought a house and getting married this summer, so this will be a long build similar to old guys and their hot rods. as of now who knows what i'll do. i may end up buying another sr. curses i can't ever make up my freaking mind.

keep it real with the VQ and use the 350z/G35 ECU and NAT system for the variable timing and the security. VQ w/ 6sp is HOT IMO

I'm telling you, a TD42T-powered vert would be bitchin. Just do it.

FYI, Google Nissan Patrol Turbo...

I would go for the 2j its a better motor to get power out of then the VQ. and a lot easyer to install. and like you said the wiring is not that hard. also a I6 rides a hell of a lot smoother then a v6.

And to top it all off i think you would be the first with a 2j in your vert. we have 1 VQ's.
