I know that a few have done the engine damper mod.

Some have done it off ebay.

Doing a quick search on ebay, there are 2 companies selling them and I'm curious to know which one you found to be the same as the stillen...are they all the same?

I brought up both kits and did a side by side comparison with the stillen kit. You'll find one uses almost the exact same parts (bolts, shock, etc) as stillen uses, where as the other uses different looking pieces (mainly the heads of the absorber is different and I think there may be a few other differences).

I went with the kit that looks the most like Stillens and couldn't be happier. The instructions that come with it are from Stillens website too and were easy to follow thanks to the pieces being so alike.

Silly Teflon... you're a slacker.

It was a quick and easy install... I went with the cheapest one, it was under $75 bucks delivered I think.

It really makes an audible difference, you can feel the engine in the pedal and steering wheel... seems to improve the lower rpms slightly, but no major power increases.

May make more sense to preform on a 6mt.
