What kind of compression check equipment has worked the bestfor your maxima? If you know let me know the manufacturer, part #,and place to go.

Most of the compression tools from Autozone, Pep Boys have just a hose to attach to the spark plug hole. I am afraid to use a tool with just a hosescrew on because it might not get tight enouph on the plug hole andblowoff.

Oreilly's has a compression tool with a 8-10" tapered metal rod to screwdown throught the coil tube and screw in to the plug hole. Then you canattach the compression gauge or an rubber hose extension.

By the way, Nissan endorses their mechanics to use Kent-Moore tools. They have a lousy website so does anybody know a good website to get them.
