engine code p1105 in my 98 240sx ka24de

that is MAP sensor/BARO sensor switching valve circuit malfunction. I am not sure why I am getting this code or how to fix it. I have a 98 ka24de any ideas?

same thing on my 97 happened except mine was po105. try a MAP sensor, if u go to a dealership, tell them a boost sensor, that'd be the first thing i would try. ( avg. like $150 for that little a$$ siht)

I dont think the car comes with a map sensor just maf sensor

its actually "boost sensor" thats printed on it, but same siht. located right in front of the pass. strut tower

Check the hoses that plug into the unit for cracks. Also check the electrical harness connector.

The sensor is not used for fuel control. It is simply used for evap system diagnosis in OBDII

All of the hoses were plugged in and the harnesses were plugged in.

If the hoses are all OK, then the unit itself is most likely bad and needs to be replaced.
