Yeah, I'm still kind of new to the whole tuner scene, so please don't hate me for the stupid questions. :( Anyway, I was wondering if there is a engine chip upgrade available for a 91 Sil13 SE with a KA24DE engine. Basically, where can I get one and is there any one brand that is better than the others. So, if anyone has any info to share, I'd really appreciate it. Thanx

Just a hint try using the search bar in the top right corner of the webpage. I did a search and came up with 10 threads that cover your question

But since I am feeling like Santa today (well I even look like the jolly old saint Nick) I cut and past one of the topics.Enjoy!!! Sorry I forgot to get the screen name, to give the person who wrote the little write up credit.

Japanese Motorsport and Proceed Racing Osaka have joined forces to develop the only true performance computer upgrade for Jap import vehicles. Rather than being simply a chip swap the Proceed conversion is a whole changoever Engine Management computer. All Proceed computers feature the removal of the 180km/h speed limiter, raised overboost fuel cut, raised rpm limiters, and fully remapped fuel and ignition tables for Australian fuel. This allows higher boost settings and more power with no chance on pinging. http://www.japanesemotorsport....e.htm

that is for the sr20 motor, not the KA. If you want a KA ecu remap, goto http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/ (cut and paste). the price is about $500. (I've heard) You could get your answer faster with the search button, but who likes speed anyway? ;)
