engine bore hone lubricant ????

ok so i have to hone the cylinders in the block i got that im finna put together next week. no usally i have a machine shop do this but i usally have a lot more work done at the time and they just do it. but since this is all im needing done and i got the tool to do it anyways i was going to do it. now my question is what do i use to lube the cylinder and hone it self some ppl have told me oil others have told me that it needs to be water im looking for a deffinitive awanser.

spray style "white lithium grease' works well..and helps show the amount your cutting by turning colors..like grey with light cutting..silver for moderate and black for way to friggin much..lol..dont forget to get some tools to meshure things out..."T" handles and a micromeater or digital caliper will work..you pop the "T" handle device down the cylinder in 6 different areas and meshure the "T" handle with the digital caliper to see if your taperd and what not...and dont forget when your all evend out to rotate the stones really slow..but go in and out really fast making the 45 degree angle lines ya need to seat the rings correctly...good luck man.
