I'm having a problem, my car (95 240 with about 70,000 miles on it) idles fine but when I hit the gas it bogs down big time for about 4 seconds. When the engine warms up sometimes it will stop but now allways. Any ideas on how to fix this?

if you're talking about what i think you're talking about, i think mine does it too.

both my KAs did it actually, im sure they all do. its just got a lot to turn initially..... and when you stomp the gas and let loads more air and fuel in..... its just like... what are you doing!? and then it catches up to itself and is okay.

.... after reading that back to myself.. it just seems like a stupid explanation.. but it is what it is.

my KA doesn't do it, and i drive an automatic.

4 seconds is a long time for an engine to "bog". when was the last time you had a tune up?

It could be your mass airflow sensor going bad.

Any clue how much a new maf would cost? Or should I just search the junk yards?

No idea. You should be able to get a used one fairly cheap. Search the classifieds.
