I just got done reinstalling my FMIC and cam covers, coolant temperature sensor and oil pressure switch (installed a water temp gauge and an oil pressure gauge). I took the car out for a test drive and it idles fine (except for the fact that ever 2 mins or so the revs will drop a bit but then recover) and accelerates and decellerates fine as well. However, if I am cruising at any speed constantly my car will start to bog until I either accelerate or decelerate. It wont cruise normally without bogging up. I am pretty sure I have a vac leak (My vac is -12 mm Hg at idle, but my boost is correct at 14.7 PSI max....got the boost set to 1 BAR). Before I started any of these mods my engine ran fine...cruising, accelerating and decellerating. The engine has a Kouki S14 T28 turbine on it. I've been told that the turbo could be causing some problems (or just created much more pressure than the stock t25 causing alot of lines to rupture), but like I said, before I took off the FMIC, cam covers, coolant temp sensor and oil pressure switch it didn't bog. A few years back on my CA18DE I had the exact same problem(at the time I lived in Tokyo). I brought the car in to a mechanic and came back about 15 minutes later and he had it fixed. He said it was a sensor that had to be changed. My two guesses are coolant temp sensor and oil pressure switch. Any ideas....ANYONE?

My guess is either the CTS or TPS. Leaning more towards the TPS though.

I just ran my ECU through diagnosis mode 3, 4 and 5.... all good. No error codes (the ecu would pop up a CTS and TPS if those were bad) and in 4 and 5 my CAS, knock, etc were all good. Im pretty sure my CTS is bad.....my stock temp gauge(in my gauge cluster) doesn't read anymore after I took it out and reinstalled it. What are the symptoms of a bad CTS?

I got a new coolant temp sensor coming in the mail....I'll see if that fixes the bogging.....but the vac leak.... errrrrrr.
